Earlier this month, I was appointed by the President of the Connecticut Bar Association to co-chair (along with Jay Sandak of Stamford) the CBA Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section. The section includes attorneys who work as arbitrators, mediators, facilitators, academics, systems designers, and for not-for-profits.
As stated in the section’s description on the CBA website: “This section aims to increase the awareness of ADR within the bar and the general public, promote communication among lawyers and others involved in ADR, act as a resource to the courts and others, improve the quality of ADR services and encourage members of the bar to serve as neutrals in various ADR settings.”
I look forward to working with Jay and others in the ADR section over the next year.
